Boreholes

Logs, reports, measurements and geochemical analysis

Administrative data of wells and boreholes are always available in the public domain. Well log measurements and reports are available after the confidentiality period has expired (5 years for post 2003 data, 10 years for pre 2003 data).

First select a well via the interactive map, the selection screen or the listing and then click in the appearing screen on the link of your choice.

The following data types are available:

  • Administrative data
  • Documents: reports and logs (including composite logs, as TIF or PDF format)
  • Log curves (LIS/LAS): digital log curves
  • Samples: geochemical data
  • Core measurements
  • Lithostratigraphy
  • Deviation data
Remarks:
Almost all individual logs are available as a scanned image. Well logs from wells drilled by NAM are combined in a zip file (!all logs zipper!).
To display the composite logs one is advised to use IrfanView or Brava! reader.
Download LIS/LAS conversion tool from Schlumberger.

Rock samples

The geological sample repository in Zeist contains a representative collection of cores and rock samples from almost all gas exploratory and production wells from throughout the state. The facility includes sufficient space and equipment for proper sample layout and viewing of released geologic samples.
